30 Days of Music: Day 30 – Your favorite song at this time last year
Glass Candy- Digital Versicolor
I was getting into the group Glass Candy last year when I first herd about them and when I found out they played at FYF last year. When I saw them live, I felt like they stole the show. From Glass Candy I started listening to the whole Italian Does it Better crew from The Chromatics, Desire, Mike Simonetti and my new favorite Symmetry.

U2- Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me
When this song came out I was into this song and always enjoyed it. This is probably the only song I like from the band.

This song makes me want to do bad things with the beat and the mood. Perfect song for a criminal….
30 Days of Music: Day 27 – A song that you wish you could play
The Mars Volta-Dyslexicon
I’ve been recently listening to this song a lot and I like to pay attention to each instrument details especially the drums. The guy who plays drums for this song is Deantoni Parks who is a very talented drummer. In the future I would like to play something in the band with this type of style.

Death From Above 1979- Turn it Out
I’m a huge DFA fan since high school. When they got back together last year and seeing them three times live I would listen to them non-stop. Out of listening to them so much I was able to play this song on drums. Maybe some day my band can do a cover and we can play this live….

This song reminds me of my friend Joe because he would say stuff like this. This song is so random but to me its funny. I wonder how much effort they put when putting this song together…
30 Days of Music: Day 24 – A song that you want to play at your funeral
Simon & Garfunkel: The Sounds of Silence
When I went to go see Watchmen on IMAX I remember seeing the funeral scene in the movie and I thought, “Would it be weird to think that I want The Sounds of Silence to play at my funeral?” I’m fan of both the comic and the movie. If you ever see me in person, I have a smiley face on my hoodie that I usually wear.
30 Days of Music: Day 23 – A song that you want to play at your wedding
Billie Holiday- You’re My Thrill
Well I didn’t want to do this entry because I really don’t see myself getting married in the future. However, as close to a wedding maybe i would like to have someone to dance to this music.

About two years ago I had a fallout with a friend over something and I bumming it for the past the couple of days and I remember playing this song because of it. But it’s still a good song.
